Le Département du Hyogo a organisé le premier Marathon de Kobe en 2011 et près de 23000 coureurs y ont participé

La deuxième édition du Marathon de Kobe aura lieu le 25 novembre 2012 (dimanche.)

Le point de départ est à l’hôtel de ville de Kobe au cœur de Kobe et les coureurs traverseront la ville vers l’ouest, jusqu’au pont de Akashi Kaikyo Oohashi (le pont suspendu le plus long du monde (photo),) puis longeront le bord de mer pour arriver sur Portisland, île artificielle.

Les inscriptions sont ouvertes entre le 20 avril et le 21 mai par internet. Les frais d’inscription s’élèvent à 10,000 yen (soit environ 100 euros.)

Un second parcours de 10.6 km est également prévu pour 2,000 personnes. Les frais d’inscription sont alors de 5,000yen (environ 50 euros.)

Since 2011, Hyogo Prefecture cooranizes Kobe Marathon and last year, about 23000 runners took part in.

The second edition will be held on the 25th November (Sunday).

Starting from Kobe City's town hall, the runners continue to run until the Akashi Kaikyo Oohashi (the longest suspention bridge in the world), then turn back to the city. The goal is located on Portisland, one of the  artificial islands in Kobe.

The application from whole world is accepetd between the 20th April and the 21st May by Internet. To entry, it costs JPY 10,000 (about 100 euros.)

Le Club de Taiko du Lycée Konan Tours à Paris

Au Jardin d'Acclimatation le 15 avril, les étudiants du Lycée Konan à Tours ont joué Taiko sur la scène.

Konan dont le siège est à Kobe, Hyogo a fondé cet lycée dans le département d'Indre-et-Loire, un des partenaires du Hyogo en 1991, mais malheusement à la suite de la diminution du nombre des élèves, l'école ferme ses portes cette année.

Le club de Taiko participe réguilierement aux évènements japonais pour introduire la culture de la musique japonaise et il a beaucoup de succés auprès du public français.

At the parc of Acclimatation in Paris, students of Konan High School in Tours played Taiko on the stage on the 15th April.
Konan, whose main campus is located in Kobe, Hyogo found this high school in the Department of Indre-et-Loire, one of the partners of Hyogo in 1991, but the shool will be closes this year because of the decrease of the number of students.

The Club of Taiko regularly participates in events related to Japan to present its music culture and their perfomance is always admired by the Fench people.

Sillky TAKERUBOY from Hyogo won the Design Award in Germany

The capentary saw "Silky TAKERUBOY" designed by Mr. Yukikazu UEDA at Inter Design Laboratory Inc. for UM-KOGYO. Inc. in Ono city of Hyogo was awarded in iF product design award 2012 - Gold in Hanover, Germarny.

This design awards go to industrial products with outstanding quality of design annually and is worldwide famous and prestigious.

Hyogo - The Heart of Japan / Le Cœur du Japon

Hyogo Prefecture, located in the center of Japan’s main island Honshu and facing both the Sea of Japan and the Seto Inland Sea, is the biggest prefecture in Kansai (west Japan) with 5.6 million inhabitants. 

The capital city is Kobe, which is famous for its beautiful harbor, Kobe Beef, and so on.

Le département du Hyogo est situé au cœur du Japon sur l'île principale de  Honshu. Face à la Mer du Japon au nord, l’Océan Pacifique et la Mer Intérieur de Seto au sud, le Hyogo est le plus grand département dans la région du Kansai (l’ouest du Japon) il compte 5.6 millions d’habitants. 

Le Chef lieu du Département est la ville de Kôbé, très célèbre à la fois pour  son port international et  pour le bœuf de Kobe, « Kobe Beef » etc.

Par ailleurs, le Hyogo constitué de 5 régions aux particularités  climatiques et géographiques bien précises, telles que la nature, l’industrie de la mode, les eaux thermales « Onsen » (station thermale),  le Théâtre traditionnel de Marionnette « Jyoruri »  (le théâtre traditionnel de marionnettes), la céramique et bien d’autres attraits pour le visiteur… 

En 1993, le Bureau de Représentation en Europe du département du Hyogo basé à Paris,  a été crée afin de pouvoir faire la liaison directe entre le Hyogo au Japon et l’Europe.

Ce bureau a pour but :  

- Promouvoir le département du Hyogo dans toute l’Europe

- Aider les entreprises venant du Hyogo à s’implanter ou se développer en Europe  

- Promouvoir les échanges économiques et culturels entre le Hyogo et l’Europe

- Stimuler les partenariats ou  investissements des entreprises européennes dans le Hyogo
